The PIGS pre and post-processor has 2D automesh generation facilities for generally shaped areas.
Initially nodes and construction lines are created defining the 2D generator plane to be modeled.
The auto mesh boundary is defined and grading values (element side length) are assign to construction line intersections.
Two dimensional elements are then generated.
The 2D elements may then be swept to form 3D elements.
