In this example the model has been created using FEMAP.<\/p>\n<p>Whichever pre-processor is used the overall procedure is similar, e.g.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Import geometry, e.g. STEP file<\/li>\n<li>Create additional lines and curves<\/li>\n<li>Form surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Assign mesh densities<\/li>\n<li>Mesh surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Export data<\/li>\n<li>Convert data to PAFEC format<\/li>\n<li>Run PAFEC analysis<\/li>\n<li>Post-process results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The example below demonstrates the creation of a mobile phone model. Symmetry has been utilised, therefore only a half model is required.<\/p>\n<p>This model evaluates the effect of the mobile phone shape. The source has been approximated to a rectangular piston in the position of the loudspeaker aperture.
