The mouth of the horn is mounted in an infinite rigid baffle. The piston at the throat has a single pulse prescribed as the displacement history.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-403\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/horn.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"662\" height=\"492\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An axisymmetric model is used. Acoustic finite elements model the air inside the horn and extend out to a spherical surface.
